Overview

Beyond the Breakdown (BTB) is a browser-based interactive experience that premiered on Jan 30th 2021 at the Sundance Film Festival (New Frontier), created by artists Tony Patrick, Lauren Lee McCarthy, and Grace Lee. The project is a AI moderated chatroom for groups of stranger to share and discuss their vision and values for building a post-pandemic world.
